Ozark Mountain Daredevils
The Gillioz Theatre & Dwight Glenn Productions Present the Ozark Mountain Daredevils "39 & Holding" Tour. The Daredevils return to the magnificent Gillioz Theatre after selling out 3 shows in 2007. Two nights only on Friday and Saturday, September 10th and 11th!
The Daredevils' performance will follow a showing of the documentary, "Cowtown Ballroom...Sweet Jesus," which takes a look back at the historic Kansas City venue that hosted some of the greatest music acts of the 70's. The documentary will be showing at 6:15 PM both evenings.

The Gillioz Theatre Presents: Blues Traveler
It's not every band that’s still staking out new musical territory and embracing fresh challenges more than 23 years into their career, but that’s the case with Blues Traveler. Having long ago graduated from the jam-band underground to mainstream stardom, the iconoclastic combo has consistently stuck to its guns and played by its own rules.
The aforementioned body of work encompasses eight studio albums and four live discs, six of them certified Gold or Platinum, with combined worldwide sales of more than ten million units. The band's best-known single, “Run-Around,” was the longest-charting radio single in Billboard history. Along the way, the band has played more than 2000 live shows in front of more than three million people.
The Last Days of Extraordinary Lives: A Film by Randy Bacon
Recognized photographer Randy Bacon, along with his wife and partner, Shannon, have taken the plunge into filmmaking. Bacon will unveil his first feature length documentary film, The Last Days of Extraordinary Lives, Hollywood premiere red carpet style on October 16, 2010. It will debut at the historical Gillioz Theatre Downtown Springfield, 325 Park Central East. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and show time is 7:00.
